A beautiful swimming pool shelters within ancient walls, all set within secluded gardens, it is the idyllic setting for complete relaxation.
Rustic beams and tuffeau stone are paired with modern fittings. Woodburners in the lounge and kitchen; dishwasher, washing machine, satellite TV, DVD player.
A 20 min drive to Saumur with its many restaurants, bars and wine cellars. Also the River Loire for kayaking and river trips. Central for the Loire vineyards and chateaux. Vernoil-le-Fourrier is a quaint, rural village with boulangerie, bar, cafe, tabac, pharmacie, poste. The property is a few minutes outside of the village in the hamlet of Les Passetries. The surrounding area is very peaceful, with an abundance of wildlife. A beautiful place to walk, ride your bike and enjoy nature.
The property itself is spacious, downstairs is laid to traditional terracotta tiles with a spacious lounge opening onto the rear patio area and garden and a large kitchen/diner. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with kingsize bed and balconette overlooking the pool. A twin-room with ensuite shower/toilet (a guest bed can be made up to accommodate an extra child). A family bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, bidet and sink.
