A great base for a half term adventure, it was lovely to have somewhere warm and cosy to return to. Bike Storage was really handy too. Bike park Wales-best day out in UK! A goo rest day in Hay on wye looking in book shops and lunch out to nurse ore muscles. Lovely autumn colours in waterfall country and Sunday lunch at the Old white Horse. Very good place to stay, so many places to visit within the local area. quite Village. Recommended -The red lion Public house for meals, the Big Pit, Blaenavon Iron works if interested in industrial heritage. Blaenavon heritage railway and Brecon Mountain railway Tretower Court & Castle. If you like gardens, the National Botanical Gardens of Wales is a good place to visit about hour and half journey from here. Than you for a quiet and relaxing stay in Riversdale.
The house is lovely and quite and fully equipped, we hope to return to finish all the walks and climbs we couldn''t do. It was a lovely relaxing break. Recommended places to visit- everywhere the views and scenery are beautiful. Thanks for the lovely cottage and the drinks in the fridge was a bonus
Riversdale has been a great base for the Greenman Festival, The house is in a peaceful setting and the local area is stunning. Recommended places o visit is the Book café in Crickhowell and anywhere with a footpath sign. Thanks for your help and Welcome drinks.
Thank you for letting us use this lovely home. It is n a great location and has we needed and more for a very happy stay. The welcome gifts were much appreciated. Caerfanell waterfalls were beautiful and is a good car park at the beginning of the walk. The Big pit was vey interesting, its best to get there early as the wait time for the pit tours can become quite long later in the day. Thank you for being the perfect hosts, we have loved staying here X
Beautifully clean, comfortable & cosy home. Lots of games available for the children. comfy beds, soft towels. great t.v. recommend visit to Crickhowell - the dragon pub. walk along the River, tow and canal path. Thank you. You''''ve got this sussed! Just how we hoped it''''d be.
