Description

Y Beudy at Wig Farm is full of cosy character and charm. A stone cottage lovingly restored retaining lots of original features and yet very well-equipped for that perfect seaside break. Y Beudy is within walking distance of the stunning Ceredigion Coast path and the pretty cove of Llangrannog. Situated on a 17 acre smallholding the historic cottage is surrounded by stunning peaceful grounds which are an idyllic wildlife haven. There is a network of woodland and coastal paths all around the area which will allow you to explore this stunning unspoilt haven.

The cottage has full central heating which can be controlled by guests for their own comfort. It also has a lovely log burning stove for which we provide a generous initial supply of logs, firelighters and kindling. An open plan layout downstairs means you can cook in the well-equipped kitchen whilst enjoying the fire, tv and chatting to the other half! The kitchen is very well-equipped. The lounge has 2 comfy leather couches in front of the log burning stove and a flat screen TV. There is a good Wifi service throughout the cottage too.
The very pretty openplan staircase (normal pitch) leads to the very pretty eaves bedroom with kingsize bed and even a double-ended roll-top bath. There is an additional traditional box-bed in this bedroom too. The en-suite shower room has a lovely power shower. There is plenty of hot water always on tap! Fluffy towels and hotel quality bedding all add to the romantic luxury of this little hideaway.

Just absolutely perfect!

By Pat & Emma on 31-Aug-2024

Pat & I have had a wonderful relaxing week in Y Beudy. We swam most days at llangrannog, saw dolphins in the bay, ate fish & chips & ice-cream. We love this cottage & location. Perfect in every way!

A lovely cosy little cottage in lovely beautiful surroundings. We needed somewhere eascape the hustle & bustle of our daily lives and we found it!Norma & James made us feel really welcome. What a marvellous time we have had!

By Manfred and Anne from Bavaria, Germany on 03-Aug-2024

Norma & James took great care of us. Made reservations for us in the pubs and restaurants. We’ve had a marvellous time with sightseeing, beaches, swimming. Dolphins could be seen at Aberporth. Y Beudy was comfortable and very quiet. We’ve enjoyed the wonderful pond and the birds picking & singing. If you hear something rustling and crackling in the morning it’s the squirrel eating hazelnuts! Many thanks to Norma & james, Goodbye Y Beudy.

Tranquility in a wonderful location

By Janis & Biscuit on 01-Aug-2024

Thank you Norma & James for a tranquil stay. Wonderful location secluded yet a short walk to the coast. We loved the grounds & animals. We had everything we needed and loved all the little touches, including the welsh cakes. We look forward to returning

Perfect little hideaway

By Andy & Martina on 22-Jun-2024

We are leaving today after a wonderful time in our little cottage. Compact with everything one needs, lovely hosts, willing to share lots of information about places to visit & things to do. We particularly loved Penbryn with its perfect beach and hundreds of stones to build towers with. The Plwmp Tart was worth a visit for lovely coffee We enjoyed the Pentre Arms for amazing steaks. The beach at Llangrannog is also worth a visit. Until next time!
