Totally Unique & Truly Amazing Anglesey Holiday Home!

By Dr Kennedy on 14-Mar-2025

The place is fantastic for families or friends wanting to enjoy what Angelsey has to offer and I would definitely recommend it! If you want to know why I loved the place so much, read on . We stayed for a long weekend and had two families share the cottage, the place is large with several large communal spaces (Lounge, Kitchen/Dinner, Games room and an outside area so we “the adults” chilled out in the lounge which is large enough for about 15 people, while the kids played in another room (I actually forgot they came with us the place was so quiet). There is a games room with classic arcade games like “Street Fighter”, a table football and my absolute favourite a real arcade style air hockey table so you can still have fun if the weather is bad and no one wants to go out! We were lucky and the weather was almost an Angelsey “Summer” (March 2025), sunny, dry and about 16C so we did spend a little time in the garden which will be fantastic in the real summer when the weather is warmer, although that didn’t stop us having a fantastic day out by Menai Bridge (we had a picnic and walk down by the water) which we all loved, we also went to the beach which was about 5 minutes away. I’m looking forward to going back for summer so look out for my next review

The Old School House

By Pat Moorcroft on 21-Feb-2025

Spent the weekend at this beautiful converted school house. It is very tastefully decorated and finished to the highest of standards, All rooms were bright and airy and plenty of space in every room, beds were so comfortable and lovely white crisp bedding. Large dining table where we all snacked and played games (that was after a meal at the local pub), ate in the next night and cooking was a pleasure in the beautiful brand new kitchen which is so well equipped with everything you should ever need. No washing up thanks to the dishwasher. French doors lead out to the slated garden area, again plenty of room outside so when we go again we will BBQ. Highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away.

Yr Hen Ysgol - The Old Primary School Lovely girly weekend at the Old Primary school in Llanddeusant Anglesey. Such an amazing renovation of a beautiful old school building. The property is so cosy and warm. Very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay here perfect. We visited the Y Gwesty Holland Hotel such a lovely quaint pub. Lovely atmosphere friendly staff and amazing home cooked food. Good value for money and good portions. Will definitely be returning.
