Stunning views

By Lizzi on 10-Aug-2024

This is the second time that we have stayed at this villa. The villa is extremely well equipped with a great deal of kitchen equipment. Bed linen and towels, including beach towels, are provided. There is perfectly adequate WiFi available and a TV, but we never use the latter because we are always at one of the many stunning beaches or sitting on the terrace enjoying the amazing view.

Amazing place

By Cath PG on 22-Jun-2024

For a one bedroom house, it was amazingly kitted out. Everything you could possibly need was there. The views were amazing that we never tired of. We walked down to beach and St Clair and even one day along beach to Le Lavandou. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes. We twice went to L’Apero Gourmand at bottom of Road up to house. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful get away with amazing views.

Feeling at home

By Andy on 06-Apr-2024

We've been coming back to the villa for many years now and we have never been disappointed. The little villa is situated beautifully, with a terrace that comes with flowers and the most wonderful view of the Mediterranean. There's a private garage (not huge), which is a bonus in the hot weather. The property itself is very well kept. It's evident that it's a family home that the owners use themselves. Over the years we have witnessed improvements or - if necessary - replacements. The kitchen and dining area are well equipped, the internet has always worked a treat, and there's plenty of room for clothes. Guests are offered bath and beach towels as well as bedlinen when requested, and the villa has always been immaculately clean and tidy when we arrived. You can be sure settling in is a piece of cake and takes no time. Prior to our stay, we always receive accurate and extensive information on how to find the key and what to do (if nobody has been there for a while). The owners also provide a folder that includes a large range of suggestions concerning trips, restaurants and walks. Following them, we have found wonderful spots that we enjoy going back to from time to time. But there's always something new to explore as well. When there was a problem (I stupidly locked the door key in the garage on two occasions), we have found the owners very helpful They really did their utmost to help us from a distance and managed to get us back on track. We love the villa so much that we call it our French home. We can't wait to spend a fortnight there again next year.

Quintessential Riviera Escape

Lovely holiday home with spectacular views from its elevated position in a secluded development. Comprehensive information is provided at the house with lots of helpful suggestions for local shops and restaurants. There’s a private beach below the property which can be accessed by a private stairway that passes an excellent restaurant, so you can enjoy a meal on your way back.

Last week in February and Half of March 2024

By Ian Moncrieff Turner on 28-Feb-2024

A very comfortable and secure, well-appointed, gite with a sun-trap terrace. Beautiful views over the bay but not really walking terrain for the elderly. Directions to the gite, and house instructions, were very clear and the owner was very helpful. Good starting point for anyone wishing to visit places mentioned in Conrad's novel, "The Rover" (the inspiration for our visit).

A wonderful week in a lovely villa

By Sally Jinks on 23-Sep-2023

We were armed with very clear and precise instructions on where to find the villa as well as very useful tips on things to do and places to eat nearby. The villa itself was beautifully sited and with a marvellous view to the sea as well as being equipped with everything one might need on holiday. There are some stunning beaches nearby and this part of the coast is relatively quiet and unspoilt. . We would warmly recommend this as a holiday home for a couple.
