Some Warm Sunshine and lots of Oysters..
By Smythe on 13-Sep-2024Great location for this week in Brittany, some warm sunshine and lots of oysters, moules frits, galettes and wine. Great place to stay for visiting the lovely region, Saint Malo, Saint Suliac and le Mont Saint-Michel are all worth visiting. Visit Cancale for the oysters, you can buy them on the quai and have a bottle glass of wine and sit on the pier and eat them with lemon, the tradition is to toss the shells into the sea. Will highly recommend Maison Cachée to friends and would love to return to this region and La Maison Cachée again! Robin and the Smythe family

'The house was immaculate when we arrived'
By Graham on 18-Aug-2023Thank you so much for hosting us in your beautiful Breton Cottage. We have had a lovely week in the extremely pretty Dinan. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the location was perfect for our teens to have their independence and our younger one to enjoy kayaking on the river. We especially loved the Dinan Thursday morning market and also the beaches in Dinard and the old part of Rennes. A special thanks to Judith for immediately helping us when our car battery died one day.! We really appreciated her help and advice. Thank you. Many happy memories… Rob & Faye
'Every home comfort for a relaxing and luxurious stay'
By Dalglish on 28-Jul-2023The house is absolutely beautiful and has every home comfort for a relaxing and luxurious stay. The location is wonderful, with a fantastic range of bars and restaurants all a few minutes walk away, with the delights of the medieval centre of Dinan just a little further. We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. We also received superb, friendly support and advice from Judith, from our initial enquiry and throughout our stay, always going above and beyond what might be expected. For example recommending dog-friendly beaches and walks, and even arranging a vet appointment for us. Kate, Chris & family
