This beautiful cottage, sleeps 6 +2 (small children/infants) in 3 stylish bedrooms with a small sofa bed in the main bedroom. Tastefully and thoughtfully furnished the cottage has both a luxurious and homely feel. Located minutes from Lanhydrock House & gardens (National Trust) and the breath-taking Luxylan Valley, it is a haven for walkers and cyclists . The nearest beach is also only 15 mins away.

Located at the end of a farm lane, with similar character cottages, the location provides easy access to the A30. Originally an Estate Cottage belonging to the Lanhydrock Estate, there are 900 acres of parkland less than a mile away and Cardinham Woods is a lovely spot for walking and cycling, and only 3 miles away. For fun family days out, The Eden Project and Kidzworld Adventure Play (8 miles) are close at hand and for family days out you are spoilt for choice with nearby coastal resorts and fishing villages within easy reach. Both Charlestown and Fowey are less than 30 mins away, where there are lots of eateries to sample, or the beautiful Carlyon bay or Par Sands are all within 20 miles.

The cottage itself exudes charm and comfort with an immediate warm and welcoming feel. With character in abundance and a country-style kitchen where families can gather around the table, there is opportunity to relax and enjoy fun evenings and meals together. Equally characterful, the lounge has exposed beams, walls and deep sills with plenty of seating to gather around the wood burner to play games or watch the Smart TV. Upstairs and into the eaves are vaulted ceilings and even more character. You'll find three bedrooms, two with an en-suite. The bunk room is ideal for children with a sofa bed if required, and there's an additional shower room to complete the accommodation.

Heading outside to the rear, the enclosed garden is landscaped with a patio terrace and pergola with a private hot tub, perfect to sink into after a long day. Relax on the outdoor seating with the BBQ on the go. For those wanting to take themselves off to read a book or enjoy a little solitude or quiet contemplation, there is a small and tastefully furnished summerhouse in the front garden. Or, relax with your friend or partner and maybe enjoy a G & T - or two!

The cottage has a luxury hot tub which is available for hire on request and is payable on arrival. The cost for 2/3 nights is £200, 4 nights is £235 and 5-7 nights is £270.

Webb party who stayed at Badgers At Langoose on 24 November 2023. Property review: "Beautiful location and such a lovely cottage. The decor is really well done. Your treated to a lovely welcome pack with wine, biscuits, chocolates, bread and crisps. The fridge is stocked with butter and milk (this was great we forgot the milk!) The log burning fire is warming and cosy. The hot tub big and a must after a hike. The bathrooms are luxury, as are the bath towels and bath mats. It''s lovely and clean. " Improvements suggested (internal use only): "Beautiful place and well done. The decor is beautiful and we couldn''t fault anything. Well done!" Would you recommend this property? Yes

The owner left an amazing welcome basket not only for us but for the dog too, wonderful touch. Was most welcome especially as we had a horrible journey down due to traffic jams our end. So the items left for us were so appreciated. We loved the Badgers so much and really look forward to staying there again. We had a fabulous time away. The hot tub was fantastic we loved using it. Thank you again for an amazing place.

Review from Sarah - October 2023

Reviewed by Sarah, 20th October 2023 Very warm welcome and a fabulous, much appreciated hamper with bread, milk, butter and dog treats. The cottage is a great size and very comfortable even with our group of 4 adults, 2 children and 2 small dogs. Lovely big table in kitchen for our home cooked family meals and game nights. The outside space was ample for our dogs and the hot tub was welcomed at the end of a busy day exploring. Makes a great base and resting place after visiting Cornwall attractions for the day.
