March 2024 I was initially put off by the 5pm check-in shown on the site, but Debra was very flexible and accommodating with us and welcomed us early. Welcome basket was beyond expectations with practical and friendly treats that were a big help. Plenty of bath and face towels provided and good heating throughout, which is important in an old cottage. Large bedroom (not the one with en-suite) was two single beds pushed together. We didnโt find the mattresses to be very comfortable. Likely too firm, and we both felt achey after our two nights. Log fire was a great to have and very effective and cozy. Some firewood was included for one night, or you can buy more locally. The lounge furniture was really comfy and made it feel like home (much better than a hotel). Debra couldnโt have been more helpful.
March 2024 We had the loveliest time at the cottage. We felt so welcome at all times and whenever we needed help, Debra would be right there to answer the phone at any time. Highly recommend booking with Debra as her cottage is absolutely stunning and her friendliness was one to remember too! Thank you so much! January 2024 A lovely cottage for our weekend break
Jon January 2024 Looking for a place to spend a couple of nights unwinding after getting married, we saw Debra and Rick''s cottage. It looked delightful. BONUS, it came with a hot tub. Debra was really helpful with directions and local recommendations, and she even left a welcome basket with a bottle of bubbly in it as well as some things for the kids. Really thoughtful and kind. The cottage itself is really cute and exactly like the pictures. The only downside was the rain, but I can''t blame Debra and Rick for that!!! It didn''t ruin anything though. Brilliant stay. Thank you.
August 2023 We had a lovely stay with family at Debra's cottage and enjoyed visiting the local area. The hosts were extremely helpful with any issues that came up and also gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and to eat. The cottage is comfortable and clean.
