It is situated within 10 minutes of the famous Canal du Midi and has stunning views of the Pyrénées. The medieval town of Carcassonne, with its renowned castle as a world heritage site, is only 25km away and houses the local airport. Alternatively the airport of the fabulous 'pink' city of Toulouse can be reached in under one hour.
This is an ideal base to explore the many magestic and historical castles of the region or relax in the calm of the mountain lakes. Drive through the sleepy french villages contrasting with the bustling towns and enjoy the colourful local markets or take a trip along the mediterranean coast to Narbonne, Collioure or northern Spain. All areas within easy reach by car or train, whose experiences will heighten the senses with traditional tastes, aromas and visual delights.
The property comprises of three levels, entering via the fully-equipped modern kitchen with seperate utility area and WC on the ground floor; the staircase leads to an openplan living/dining room with flat screen TV/DVD/TNT channels and Juliette balcony; on the top floor is the double bedroom, en-suite shower room and WC.
