Lovely cottage

By Milligan on 27-May-2024

Everything straight forward to book and pay. Great range of travel guides and books, well equipped kitchen. Loved that the owner arranged to pop in to check all good and shared lots of recommendations based on what we liked to do. Village pub is a must. Good meals, friendly place. Take a stroll around the village, all the walls and gardens are beautifully planted. Check at the pub if there’s anything happening - we went to a coffee morning fundraiser, cakes homemade and huge! There’s plenty of other local events advertised in villages all over- fairs, farm shows, music, classic cars etc Expect to see cyclists, farm vehicles, animals on roads so take your time.

Quiet area

By Liverpool on 17-May-2024

The Cottage is a perfect place to stay to discover all that the area has to offer. The cottage is spotlessly clean, well equipped and the welcome is always so friendly. The owner is helpful and easy to communicate with, and takes great pains to make sure that the cottage is welcoming upon arrival - the ‘welcome basket’ is just what is needed! The garden is also a beautiful place to relax and unwind in the peaceful and quiet surroundings of a pretty village. My lasting impression is of a garden filled with birdsong, a great way to start (or end) any day.

Peaceful place

By Stockport on 17-Apr-2024

The beauty of this cottage is that it is in a pretty peaceful location but within lovely drives to so many interesting areas. Whether you enjoy the countryside or the seaside they are all easily accessible by car. There is a fantastic friendly pub a few yards away. It serves amazing food - best to book so as not to be disappointed. Highly recommended, the cottage is clean warm and welcoming.

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the area. Well equipped and great to have a log burner for the evenings. Welcoming local pub for food or drinks, and lots of other options to eat out locally. We are repeat guests and definitely recommend.
