Description

A charming 18th Century fisherman's cottage with stunning views over the Salcombe estuary, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our quaint 3 bedroom property is a one minute walk to the centre of Salcombe, with access to the beautiful beaches of East Portlemouth and South Devon coastal path. (Be warned, the cottage is old and has some low beams so please be careful.)

The space
The large first floor open plan living/ dining room has sun-bathed views over the Salcombe estuary. The cottage is accessed via the one way street out of Salcombe and is perfectly situated for all that this beautiful town has to offer.

Other things to note
If you open the windows in the sitting room you need to open them to their full extent, otherwise a tall van might damage them.
The doorways to the kitchen and the sitting room on the first floor are low, and be careful of the second bedroom which has a low beam.
Please ensure that all sand and mud are washed off before going upstairs. Thank you

I don’t think you can find a more ideal location. This cottage has so much character with one of the best views in salcombe, we’d sat for hours on the window seat staring out over the estuary. Walking distance to pretty much everything with spacious accommodation and a brilliant shower. We loved Ferryview
