2 Bedroom (Sleeps 4) Cottage in Kilkhampton

Description

10 Penhalt Cottage is available to hire from April to October for a lovely holiday in the Cornish/Devon border. The cottage is situated within Penstowe Park, Kilkhampton near Bude. This self catering accommodation sleeps 4 (1 double and 2 singles) with everything you need apart from towels and food. The cottage and area is dog friendly, has plenty of walks nearby and, of course, the lovely beaches of Bude.
Self check-in by lock-box. Code will be sent once booking has been confirmed.

LINEN & TOWELS
Whist linen is provided, towels are not. Please specify how many beds you require to be made up ready for your arrival. Otherwise it will be assumed according to number of guests e.g. two guests – 1 double, three guests - 1 double and 1 single. Towels can be provided as a small extra charge, e.g. £5 for two bath and two hand towels.

Dog owners, please note that the following beaches have a period of restriction (meaning no dogs are allowed on the beach) operating from 10am to 6pm each day:

Crooklets Beach, Bude (limited parking)
Widemouth Beach, Bude (easier for parking)

There will be credit on the electricity meter (in the kitchen cupboard), please let me know if this is not the case. To top up you will need to purchase electricity cards from The Cabin, on the left of the crossroads opposite the manor entrance. The following may be subject to change

Ape Pizzas available til 9pm (closed Monday)
Wayside Chinese open 4.30pm til 10pm (closed Tuesday)

Supermarkets and larger stores can be found just before going into Bude, turn right at the roundabout towards Bude the at the next roundabout turn left for B&M and Lidl or, go right for Morrisons (best place to get fuel). Continue in to Bude and follow the main road to the top of the hill where Sainsbury’s is on the left.

The Stowe Pub at Penstowe Manor has recently undergone complete refurbishment. Dogs welcome. Has snooker and pool tables plus dart board.. Opening times 4pm to 11pm weekdays, 12 – 11 weekends. The New Inn – Dogs not allowed. Food served every day from 12-1:45pm – 6-8:45pm but pub shuts between 2pm & 5pm Mon & Tue.
