Can’t wait to come back!

By Abi on 18-Aug-2024

We loved everything about this stay, the cottage is spacious and beautiful and the setting is just incredible. Far away enough from everything to really relax but close enough to enjoy a few day trips. The communication with all the hosts was amazing and always so friendly. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of the area. The only slight thing we were concerned about is the decking around the pool, it’s a bit past it’s peak and there was a worry about going through it. Definitely needs a bit of TLC to keep it in line with the rest of the gorgeous gardens.

Skye, Karl and Alix and family schoolings! Staying here has been a great experience for all of us. We have enjoyed the pool, the games room, the beautiful garden and the little villages surrounding Vaux. We would like to say thank you for this lovely house that you have let us stay in. 21/7--28/7 2018 John, Tori, Eve and Wilf Clifford. David, Sarah, Harry and Emily Litchfield. We all had a truly fabulous stay. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and were init every single day. Weather was amazing. Places to visit. Evening market at Segur le Chateaux Grottes de Villars Canoeing @ Brantome Velorail All done with kids aged 9, 6, 5 and 3! We would advise future residence to keep the upstairs bedroom windows closed during the evening, unless they are keen ornithologists and experienced baby owl catchers!! A hilarious 50 minutes trying to locate said baby owl in a room with a sleeping 3 year old after numerous glasses of wine made for an incredibly memorable holiday. 4th--11th Aug The Paul Family Wow, what a fantastic place! We've all enjoyed our time here so much. So relaxing and the kids(5, 11) have begged us to come back next year...which i am sure we will. Very relaxing and enjoyed staying at "home" with your pool and garden. We probably should have explored more but it was so nice just eating, drinking and sleeping in the swing chair! Thanks for a wonderful time from a now very chilled Paul family. 11--25th Aug
