Ar Tearmann cottage is the perfect island escape. It is situated in Sleat, only five minutes from the ferry terminal at Armadale (a short 30-40 min. crossing to Mallaig).

South-east facing, with panoramic views over the bay towards Mallaig, Loch Nevis, Loch Hourn and the Knoydart hills, this fully renovated cottage sleeps four, in two double bedrooms. Up to two well-behaved dogs are also very welcome, at no extra charge.

Ar Tearmann has a large, sunny, fully enclosed garden, with paved terraces and furnished patio areas with a gas barbecue for you to enjoy.

Inside, the cottage is very well equipped and cosy, with underfloor heating throughout and a wood burning stove in the open plan kitchen / dining / living room.

Bedroom one has a superking zip and link divan bed and an en-suite shower room with monsoon shower. Bedroom two has a kingsize bed and there is second bathroom, with monsoon shower and bath. Both bedrooms have patio doors onto the front terrace so that the view of the bay is always with you. Hairdryers are also provided.

The open plan kitchen area is well equipped, with a full range of NEFF, Bosch and Smeg electrical appliances, utensils, crockery and cutlery. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the entrance area, along with a separate shower for dogs.

Wifi connection is around 18Mpbs, mobile phone reception is reasonable and there are plenty of USB charging points throughout the cottage. There is a 49” Smart TV, DVD and CD player with radio and Bluetooth, along with a selection of board games, maps, books and information folders to browse.

For your comfort, the heating is thermostatically controlled from each room. And, from laundering the linen to showering the dog we hope that we’ve taken care of every eventuality.

Book directly through the website. Online payment facility for credit/debit cards, or pay by bank transfer. 30% deposit and balance six weeks before arrival.

Weekly bookings are from Friday – Friday. Arrival is any time after 4pm and there is a key safe, so no pressure to be there at a set time. Departure by 9am to allow sufficient time to clean between guests. Prices include all electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, a Welcome Pack for humans and one for their canine companions. The cottage is also well equipped with cleaning materials, laundry powder, etc., so you really only need to bring your clothes.
