Malcolm and Hilary welcome you to Low Barn, Lundholme Farm. A working beef and sheep farm of approximately 200 acres situated on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton. Come and see the cows, stroke the calves and feed pet lambs at lambing time.
Our guests can stroll through the fields to the river where they can sit and watch the birds - Kingfisher, Heron, Curlew to name a few - and other wildlife. The walk then continues on a circular route through the woods.
Trout fishing available.
Lundholme farm offers easy access to Ingleton either on foot or by car. Famous for its Waterfalls and Caves, the village has a wide variety of interesting shops and tearooms, as well as good quality Inns serving meals throughout the day and evening.
The Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-Y-Ghent are all within easy reach, as is England's largest show cave, White Scar. The famous Settle-Carlisle Railway, The Lake District, Trough of Bowland and the surrounding Dales Villages make Ingleton a superb base for walking, touring and sightseeing - giving you an altogether relaxing and enjoyable holiday!
Ground Floor
An open plan, double height sitting room with wood burning stove, adjoins a well equipped, full-size dining kitchen. There is a double bedroom with en-suite ‘wet room’ walk in shower, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and underfloor heating.
Six Steps lead down to:
Two further bedrooms – one twin room and one with full-size bunk beds. There is a separate bathroom with electric shower over the bath, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and underfloor heating.
*This cottage is suitable for someone with limited mobility or who may need to use a wheelchair
There is an interconnecting door through into Holme View cottage so the whole barn can be booked as one, making it suitable for parties of up to ten.
