Leave ReviewLovely weekend away
By Nicole Bullivant on 20-Sep-2024We stayed in Colton Loft for 3 nights in September 2024. The house is lovely and the location is perfect for visits to Thirsk and Helmsley. Nothing to fault at all & we’d love to stay again.
Comfortable and Homely
By Joanne Mackenzie on 06-Aug-2024Calton. Loft is a well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The property has great views onto open fields and the White Horse at Kilburn. Many Yorkshire towns and villages are within easy reach as are visitor attractions such as Fountains Abbey. We went on lovely walks from Sutton Bank with amazing views. There's a lovely pub with excellent food in the village, The Plum and Partridge. The host Yasmina is very good and provides goodies on arrival.
Annual Mothers Day Retreat
By Claire P on 10-Mar-2024What an amazing place! More space here than any of our houses and we felt spoilt to have an en-suite bathroom each. Three generations - me, my mum and my daughter had a lovely time here. Parkrun was nearby and we walked to a lovely farm shop to top up our provisions for the weekend. Living room was very cosy and loads of space in the kitchen. It was a shame the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to have breakfast in the garden as it was also lovely - we’ll just have to come back in the summer! Beautiful village in a very peaceful part of the country. Yasmina was a perfect host too. Thank you!

We keep coming back
By Caireen Terryberry on 12-Jul-2022This is my family's favourite place to stay when we visit extended family who live locally. There is plenty of space both for lounging or working from home, a great kitchen/diner, along with good sized bedrooms. We especially love the ensuite bathrooms - truly a gift when travelling with older kids. Yasmina is a fabulous host, available if you need anything. And the village is charming, with lots of walks and a good pub/restaurant down the street.
