Description

Northernhay is our holiday house in Hunstanton on the North Norfolk coast. It is a large, comfortable, Edwardian villa on the south side of Boston Square built at the turn of the last century, when Hunstanton first became popular as a seaside resort. Constructed from the local brown sandstone, it retains several ‘Arts & Crafts’ features.

Downstairs there is a kitchen/breakfast room, utility room, shower room, dining room with an additional seating area and a sitting room. On the first floor the master bedroom has sea views. There are also two other double rooms (one of which has an en suite bathroom) one twin room room, separate loo and bathroom and a children’s bedroom which has bunk-beds.

In all the house will comfortably sleep up to ten adults.
The kitchen and utility room are equipped with standard sized electric oven (with gas hob), microwave, dishwasher as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also plenty of food storage space including a walk-in pantry with two fridge/freezers.

There are two televisions downstairs as well as a cupboard of board games for children and wi-fi. Outside there is secure parking to the rear of the house for two cars as well as a small garden to the side of the house with a lawn and a patio area.

We provide all sheets, duvets, towels (but not beach towels). In the peak summer season the minimum stay is 7 nights starting on a Saturday. At other times of year we are happy to do 2 or 3 night stays starting on either a Friday or a Saturday.
