Description

Meadow Cottage, a dairy in it's former farming life, has far reaching views across the surrounding gently rolling countryside, a wood burning stove for relaxing evenings and the coast is nearby.

Our location provides easy access to both the countryside and the Jurassic coast. With plenty of walks straight from the front door, wildlife and birds surround us. Within approximately a 30 minutes drive you can be on the beach, fossil hunting, walking the South West Coast path, visiting a National Trust property, wandering around a beautiful garden, visiting the Donkey Sanctuary or riding a tram across the marshes while watching the birds.

Honiton is our nearest town with both supermarkets and an eclectic mix of individual shops, the Thelma Hulbert Gallery and plenty of cafés and eateries. The friendly pubs and restaurants around us serve an abundance of locally sourced foods and beers.

A little further the Cathedral city of Exeter is brimming with history, a museum and underground caves to explore as well as excellent eating and shopping opportunities.

Care has been to retain the character of the converted barn with many original features, including some exposed stonework and wood beams, retained while offering you the comfort of modern living.
