PLAN LAMARTINE is a converted winegrowers house situated in the heart of Montblanc which is considered one of the most desirable villages in the Languedoc and which is a 5 minute drive away from the main road from Montpelier down to Barcelona (A75). The rural commune of Montblanc in Herault is situated close to the rivers Libron, Thongue, and the Lene and is near to Servian, Valros, Pezenas and Beziers. The Canal du Midi is also nearby. A half hour away by car, near to Agde is the Tamarisserie which is a lovely unspoiled beach and restaurant area. There are other long sandy beaches between Agde and Sete. Visitors are advised to hire a car or to drive themselves to the house. Airports ; the nearest is Beziers Cap d’Agde/Vias to where Ryan Air fly and Montpelier (Easijet and other airlines). About 50 minutes away is Carcasonne (also Ryan Air). The house has private parking for up to two cars and the house has four double bedrooms (three double bedrooms and one with two single beds). The main bedroom has an ensuite shower and WC and the other two bedrooms on the first floor share a full bathroom and WC between them. There is also a downstairs WC and a solar shower beside the pool. The garden has been laid out in Mediterranean style with plants surrounding the pool and in clumps throughout the 1200 square metre site. It is a highlight for visitors. Being in the middle of the village means that visitors can walk to the lovely Eglise Ste Eulalie or to the boulangerie, pharmacie, the supermarket (small Casino) and to the pub and the restaurant, all within very easy reach.
