Set in an elevated position with stunning views across the valley, the property sits in large gardens with a shaded terrace for ‘al fresco’ eating and relaxing, a balcony to enjoy the views and its own long drive with ample parking.
There is a local shop in the village which provides all the basics, plus a number of excellent supermarkets, all within a short drive. There are also a number of excellent restaurants close by and others within a short drive.
There are several airports within reach of the property, Béziers (45 mins) and Carcassonne (90 mins) and Montpellier at approximately 1.5 hours.
The house is approximately an hour’s drive from the coast, 45 minutes from the beautiful towns of Pezenas and Lodeve both of which host colorful weekly markets.
There are excellent walking opportunities from the house either in the mountains or down by the river and at the Gorges de Colombieres and the nearby Gorge D’Heric. There is also kayaking on the Orb, water sports on Lac Salagou or you can simply chill and relax by the pool.
