The Stables at Cloister Park Cottages is a two bedroom semi-detached cottage in the converted stable block of the owner's property surrounded by a large garden, nestled in tranquil countryside. It is attached to The Coach House - a one bedroom self catering cottage.
The two bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area with open plan kitchen is on the first floor so that guests can enjoy the beautiful rural view.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 is a twin room. There is a main bathroom with an over bath shower. The cottage is fully equipped and comes with free Wifi. The Stables has it's own enclosed patio with table and chairs.
The Stables at Cloister Park Cottages is available to rent from March 2024 until the end of October 2024 on a weekly basis. You can book direct with us by phone or via our website.
Change over day is Saturday. Check in from 4.00pm and check out time is 10.00am.
Cloister Park is in the hamlet of Frithelstock, which is surrounded by farmland and beautiful country views.
The nearest town is Great Torrington. Torrington is home to RHS Rosemoor set in a steep wooded valley, with a restaurant, tea room and shop.
The Tarka Trail is one mile down the hill. 30 miles of its 180 miles is traffic free between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon, perfect for cyclists and walkers.
There are many villages to visit on the North Devon coast including picturesque Clovelly built on a steep hillside above the sea, beautiful Appledore with it’s colourful fishermen’s cottages, famous Lynton and Lynmouth with the cliff-top railway and Hartland Point with its breathtaking sea and coastal views.
The diverse beaches of North Devon are not far away including; Westward Ho!, Instow, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde, to name a few. Don't miss out a visit to Braunton Burrows, which is one of the largest sand dune systems in the British Isles. At the heart of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) it is a UNESCO designated Biosphere reserve.
Lundy Island, lying just 10 miles off the coast of North Devon is home to a fascinating array of birds and seals, and can be reached on Lundy's own boat from Bideford Quay.
