A spiral staircase leads from the upper balcony to the 'skydeck'; a spectacular roof top terrace which offers complete privacy and views over the surrounding area.
Guests have free access to the estate's wonderful spa with its slate-lined indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor ‘eco’ pool, sauna, steam room and fully equipped gym. There is an additional heated outdoor swimming pool in the Mill Village area.
Bike hire, boat and paddle board hire is available on the estate.
There are 3 tennis courts, a children's playground, mini astro-turf football pitch, trampoline, table tennis (indoor and outdoor), soft play area. There is also a nature trail for youngsters around the estate.
Golf, fishing, sailing, and waterskiing is available nearby.
Adjacent to the spa is Ballihoo restaurant which is exclusively for the use of guests at Lower Mill Estate and offers a comprehensive breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and take-away menu. Here diners can enjoy the finest and freshest produce in an Eco-friendly environment. A pizza shack is also operational in peak periods.
Lower Mill Estate is a 450 acre private country estate comprising seven lakes, abundant wildlife.
There are lovely walks around the lakes on the nature reserve and the Thames Path runs through the estate, so you can follow the path along the river to Ashton Keynes where there is a village pub. There is also a pub in the local village of Somerford Keynes, as short walk away.
Situated close to the historic town of Cirencester, the house is a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds villages and a handy location for visiting the various festivals in Bath and Oxford and Cheltenham, including the annual National Hunt festival in March, the Cheltenham literary festival and always popular the Fairford Air Show.
Situated close to the motorway networks Lower Mill Estate makes a convenient meeting point for visitors from the North,, South West and London areas. Kemble station serving London Paddington is just a 10 minute drive/taxi away.
It is a fabulous house for families or an extended family group with plenty of facilities for children. The decking areas of the property are completely enclosed and there is no direct access to the water from the balcony.
