Overview
Description
This beautiful Breton property is located in the parque natural regional Armorique and close to Mont’s d’Arre , nestled in a privately owned hamlet, within the Brittany countryside. This property is located one hour from Brest airport and one hour from Roscoff ferry port which makes it easily accessible for international visitors. We are close to many tourist attractions. The valley of the saint’s, the beautiful town of Huelgoat and the miles of safe cycling routes along the voies verts. (We do offer a secure storage for bicycles.)
The coast is only a short drive away featuring soft sandy beaches and coastal paths. There are many beautiful chateaus and castles in the area for a day of sightseeing into Brittany’s historical past.
This one bedroom accommodation is perfect for a relaxing getaway.
On the ground floor this property has an open plan living space, featuring a kitchen, dining and lounge area, warmed by a large wood stove. The shower room and toilet are also on this level. Up stairs is the bedroom and a loft area with a sofa bed for alternative sleeping. Please note the ceilings on this level have height restrictions and the stairs are steep to get to this level.
At the rear of the property is a private patio with uninterrupted views of the Breton countryside. There you could enjoy a glass of fine French wine while being serenaded by the abundance of our resident song birds.
P s, we are subject to a tourism tax to be paid to our local authority at 3€ a night per person.
Unfortunately we love dogs but cant accept them in this property.

Leave ReviewPerfectly peaceful Brittany location
By Brenda Piercy on 01-Aug-2024We loved or stay with Karen & Matt (& the girls!). Perfect hosts. Beautifully curated rural gite, real French style and beautiful attention to detail. Really excellent facilities, with everything required to cook up a storm (when not eating out). So relaxing, dark skies with amazing star gazing from the garden. Private space and lots to do in the area. Will definitely be returning.
