In the village of Corfe Castle on the of the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, is a 400 year old thatched cottage perfectly situated for you to stay and explore the Jurassic Coast.
Recently renovated, this dog friendly, 2 bedroom cottage is the South West Coast path outside the door and Blue Flag sandy beaches just 6 miles away.
The gate at the end of the back garden opens directly onto the Halves and a footpath to the village centre or the neighbouring village of Kingston and its famous pub The Scott Arms, which boasts of "the best views in England".
Within walking distance of Brushwood Cottage are 4 pubs, an award winning Village Store, bakery, National Trust shop and a ruined castle ready to be explored. There is also a train station, part of the Swanage Railway, operating full-size steam and diesel passenger trains along the five and a half miles of line from Norden to Corfe Castle and down to the Victorian seaside town of Swanage.
