IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
In July and August all bookings must be for 14 nights and start and end on a Saturday. The following two week periods are still available to book for this Summer:
5th - 19th July 2025
2nd - 16th August 2025
16th - 30th August 2025

Lou Mitan occupies one half of an old stone barn with views of the small village chateau and an old gate leading directly onto the village square. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it can accommodate up to 6 guests.

THE KITCHEN

The well equipped open plan kitchen/diner is light and airy, with doors opening directly onto a small private garden with views over Sergeac village.

THE TERRACE GARDEN

The terrace garden is accessed by big glass doors from both the kitchen and sitting room, and is in effect an extension of the entertaining space for the gîte. With its stone BBQ, large table with sun umbrella, sun loungers and views of the village, this garden is the perfect space to relax in after a busy day out.

THE SITTING ROOM

The sitting room is adjacent to the kitchen and accessed via a wide archway. With direct access to the private terrace, the room is both light and spacious, and together with the open plan kitchen, provides a space big enough for everyone to relax together. With thick stone walls, this room is lovely whatever time of year you visit. In Summer it remains refreshingly cool, and in the Winter it's a cosy retreat where you can relax in front of the wood burner.

BEDROOM 1

Bedroom one has an ensuite shower room and separate WC. It is located on the ground floor and is accessed via a door from the kitchen. The bedroom is a bright room with large glass doors onto the terrace garden. Black out blinds and full length curtains ensure both privacy and a perfect nights sleep. The bed is super king size (180cm) and can be made up as separate twin beds if required.

BEDROOM 2

Bedroom two has lots of character, with exposed stone walls and natural wood flooring. It is light and spacious, with a built in wardrobe, and large double bed with views out over the gardens.

BEDROOM 3

Bedroom three is a lovely room with two single beds. It is light and spacious with a large ensuite shower room, which is shared with bedroom two.

THE SHOWER ROOM

This shower room is accessed from within bedroom three, and is shared with bedroom 2. It is large and bright with a tiled walk in shower, and double sink unit and WC.

ACCESS & PARKING

Access to the gîte is via the main driveway, which will be on your right hand side as you enter the village. We will meet you when you arrive, and for unloading you can drive right up to the gîte. Once unloaded, there are several parking spaces within the grounds for your car to be parked during your stay.

THE PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL

Guests staying in Lou Mitan have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool in the main garden (June to September) which is set in its own secure landscaped grounds, and measures 5m x 9m. The pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace and small area of lawn, with plenty of chairs, sun-loungers, sun umbrellas and tables.

THE GARDENS & GROUNDS

The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful parkland gardens. For the energic we have table tennis, badminton and boules. There is also a good village tennis court two minutes walk from the house which is free to use. Tennis rackets and balls are available if you wish to play! For younger visitors, in addition to the garden games, there are some swings and a slide.
