Description
Olde Barn Gardens Dawlish Holiday Cottage is conveniently located between Dawlish & Starcross and is celebrated for it spring, summer and autumn displays of flowers and hanging baskets.Accommodation comprises of a separate Lounge, Dining Room and Kitchen opening out on to a large Conservatory overlooking the garden. Additionally on the ground floor is a WC and utility room. Upstairs there is a family Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom is en-suite with a modern walk-in shower. The very large Master Bedroom is fitted out in solid oak with bespoke wardrobes, TV and tea and coffee making facilities, and its own balcony with magnificent views of the countryside and stairs leading to the garden. The Second Bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, TV.and tea and coffee making facilities. The Third Bedroom has 2 single beds (these can be moved together). Also with tea and coffee making facilities.
Facilities: Wifi and broadband, dish washer, central heating, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, electric cooker, 4 TV's with FreeSat (in the Lounge, Conservatory, Master Bedroom and Second Bedroom), child-proof gates at top and bottom of the stairs, baby high chair, cot, all bed linen, tableware, cutlery, pots / pans etc are provided (but not towels). In the garden there is a covered eating area with table and chairs for 6 ,a BBQ and chimenea, sun beds and flower beds. Off-road private car parking for 3 cars. Sorry we do not accept pets.
Strictly no EV charging.For your safety we have all smoke, carbon monoxide and heat detectors, fire blankets, and emergency lighting throughout the cottage.
As we offer a three tier pricing for two four or six persons out of season, please phone for a quote. We also !accept short stays out of season, again please phone for a quote
The cottage is available from 5pm, but we will phone around lunchtime with a more accurate arrival time, and we ask that you leave by 10 am on day of leaving
A welcome pack of milk, coffee, tea, homemade biscuits and cake, and a bowl of fresh fruit with a bottle of bubbly is provided upon arrival.

Such a gorgeous property with a lush usable garden and big views from the master suite/balcony, which itself is incredible, with the best shower ever. Very spacious home with a lovely mix of old and modern. Michael and Linda were super sweet. Most highly recommended.

Great tonic for country getaway

Just what we needed great ensuite, walk in shower, comfy bed and view to the beautiful hills of Devon.Very helpful and yummy Lemon Drizzle cake to boot! Thanks so much and would love to stay again.

Beautiful cottage
By Carol on 14-Sep-2024What a beautiful cottage this is. The garden is stunning and the view from the upstairs terrace is breathtaking. The inside is comfy and spacious and offers many seating areas inside and out. It's 2 minutes walk to the bus stop where you can travel to many of the pretty places around Devon. You can also hop on the train. Linda and Michael made us feel so welcome and the lemon drizzle cake on arrival was delicious. Would love to return one day.
Pure Bliss

The cottage itself has a very relaxing feel close to amenities but also being in the countryside with amazing views and a stunning garden to eat out in There isn't anything that hasn't been thought off - even tea making facilities in each bedroom. The warmth of welcome was delightful - beautiful homemade cakes, biscuits all set out for an afternoon tea on arrival Thank you for a truly lovely relaxing weeks stay!
