A home from home… we had a lovely weekend break, a lovely cream tea on arrival ,the cottage was really clean with great facilities! Very dog friendly, he settled really well ❤️ A ten minute walk to the beach and train station which we used all weekend . I Loved the gluten free cafe home bakery, chip shop and waffle shop a real bonus for me . Thank you Emma and co for a great weekend
Wow! What a find. We stayed at Jubilee Cottage for a week in September and had a wonderful time! The cottage is very homely and everything is there that you could need. Very comfortable beds, great hot shower, comfy lounge and a fully kitted out kitchen. The location is brilliant and just a short walk from the lovely town centre. We used a lot of the local amenities, pubs, shops, cafes and takeaways, everything within easy reach. Beautiful walks and beaches. We also used the train to get out and about. Our host Emma was excellent, very quick to answer any questions and nothing too much trouble. We will definitely be back and have recommended Jubilee Cottage to friends and family.
Had a lovely holiday at Jubilee Cottage which is ideally situated close to the beach, park, shops and cafes. The cottage was really clean and comfortable with everything provided for us and our little dog (even down to some treats which went down really well). Will definitely be back.
Had a lovely few days at jubilee cottage. This is a beautiful cottage with thoughtful hosts, with complimentary treats on arrival both for humans and furry friends. The hosts were also v understanding of our personal circumstances and communication was excellent. The cottage is about a quick 5 min walk to the seafront or a 10 minute amble. It is situated on a quiet little side street. There is a fully enclosed courtyard which comes to life in the evening with hidden little fairy lights. A great place to sit and relax. Although Dawlish is a quiet seaside town we found it an excellent place to explore further afield. We took the coastal path walk to Teignmouth, a slightly larger bustling town with gorgeous beaches that were also dog friendly. The walk is hilly in some places but beautiful views. Alternatively hop on the train. There is also a short 2 mile flat walk to Dawlish warren with its nature reserve but also again some beautiful beaches, with some able to accommodate dogs. The railway links are excellent and so if you don’t fancy the walk back the train option is quick, regular and value for money. If we’d had longer we would have taken advantage of the boat trip out of starcross or visited some of the other easily accessible seaside towns like Torquay or Paignton
Beautiful house just around the corner from the centre of town. We spent a great weekend there. The kitchen and the rest of the house were perfectly kitted out with everything we could need.
