A gorgeous place to stay, set in a lush valley and surrounded by nature. The barn is finished to a high standard and very stylish and comfortable. Ashburton is a lovely town and the perfect base for exploring Dartmoor and the seaside.
We absolutely loved our stay at Orchard Bank Barn. Wonderful to be both off the beaten track and so close so a Ashburton. The barn is in a gorgeous setting, and waking up and being able to open the double doors/windows in the bedroom and be surrounded by nature was fantastic. Most morning we saw rabbits bouncing in the field and on one morning a deer. The accomodation was spotless and felts luxurious yet homely at the same time. Kitchen was really well equiped with everything you need. Amazing shower and v comfortable bed. Ashburton is a great place to visit, highly recommend Emilia''''s and Rafiki''''s. The deli is great too if you''''re after a bits for a casual supper. Briar Bakery was fab too, excellent bread and amazing cinnamon bun. From the accomodation is was easy to get to Totnes and other places in the area. We explored Dartmouth and visited Blackpool Sands Beach (very nice cafe). We''''ll 100% be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
