Description
Foxglade Lodge is something very special. From the minute you turn into the imposing tree lined driveway you are in your own secret garden. The owners Karen and Mark take great pride in the grounds and garden, the results are tranquil.The Lodge is next to the owners property, but is completely separate and private. The accommodation is comfortable and homely, and it’s very welcoming.
Foxglade Lodge sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, a twin and a superking – both bedrooms having TVs. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom has both a walk in shower and a separate bath. The real wow though, is the beautifully landscaped gardens.
Completely private from the roadway, with mature trees, shrubs and lawns, you will be in your own little world. A patio with steps down to the lawn is the perfect place to end a busy day on the beach.
Cromer town centre is a short walk away, and the beach is accessed via a woodland walk through an area known as Happy Valley, a recreation area since Victorian times (a 15 minute walk to the beach).
The Royal Cromer Golf Club is very close by – you can walk with your clubs!

By Stelle on 13-Jul-2024It is a lovely place, attractively furnished, compact with well-arranged space and near places, not just Cromer that are our favourites in North Norfolk, e.g. Sheringham, the villages of Weybourne and charming Overstrand, plus two nearby National Trust properties with gardens and lakes that we visited. A lovely and memorable nine-day stay.
Comfortable Cottage
