Description

Whilst is the smallest of our 4 gites at La Julerie, with a floor space in excess of 84m2 it is still spacious and very comfortable. On the ground floor this gite has a delightful corner kitchen, dinin g and salon areas plus a shower room/toilet. Upstairs offers 1 large double bedroom, and 1 twin bedded room plus a bathroom.with bath with shower attachments, basin and toilet. A cot is kept erected in the rear alcove of the double bedroom.
This gite sleeps 4 + baby in a cot.
As with the other gites this gite has a lawned area to the front and at the rear, acessed f=through the french doors there is a pits where the wooden garden table and chairs are normally situated as is the barbecue. Beyond this patio there is another small lawned area before the garden opens up to almost 1/2 hectare which is shared by all of the guests in the 4 gites

Adjoining the gites you will find the large games room in which there is a table tennis table, a seating area, there is a section of books and some games and quite a few toys for the younger children; to the rear of the room there are 2 shower changing rooms and also a toilet. For security reasons access to the swimming pool is only through the games room; the pool is over 9m long by 4m width and has a level depth of approx 1.65m, at one end there are a set of Roman steps to give easy access and around the other 3 sides there are 2 narrow steps to assist one in getting out. With the level bottom it means that parents can stand anywhere in the pool and assist their children/infants to learn to swim; another feature of the pool is it has sliding glass panels which are opened in fine weather; I therefore describe the pool as indoor/outdoor. The level bottom and the sliding panels have proved to be a very popular features. The pool area is surrounded on 3 sides by a walled patio on which there are sun loungers

La Julerie is a mere 2km from Corseul & 10km from the historic town of Dinan. The lovely beaches of the "Cote d'Amor" are only 20km away. La Julerie is situated in a quiet rural setting away from main roads. As it slopes gently to the south it is a natural sun-trap. Over the past 18 months we have seen and listed over 50 different types of birds as the buildings attract many swallows.

At night time you will hear the owls, not cars! Our gites make an ideal location for families or groups who want to relax and enjoy Brittany's charms in peaceful surroundings.

Each gite has been re-created in the traditional Breton style Kitchen :
