Park House and Park Cottage have 9 double/twin bedrooms sleeping 18. 7 bathrooms and 1 cloakroom. Ground floor bedroom and wheelchair accessible bathroom in Park Cottage. Library Dining Room seats 30. Large drawing room and 2 further lounges. Large well equipped country kitchen plus modern kitchen in Park Cottage. Huge gardens and outside seating for al fresco dining.

Located in the pretty village of Cossington, on the edge of the Polden Hills, between Glastonbury and Bridgwater, 5kms from M5 motorway, close to Wells, Cheddar and Burnham-on-Sea.

Stride out over 22 acres past the ha ha, the roses and the lovingly tended, walled vegetable garden. Secluded seating in the extensive gardens lends itself to contemplation or reading a good book. How about archery, falconry, an owl prowl or a Victorian carriage ride across the Somerset Levels. Or take to the air in a hot air balloon across the Somerset Levels. The possibilities are endless in this green oasis and there's plenty for the children to enjoy on site and locally. Croquet, badminton, table tennis, football.

Cossington Park overflows with portraits and delicious antiques. Propped against the 250 year-old Clementi piano is a Chinese bowl used to bath baby en route home from India. The grand old Drawing Room has cosy chaises-longues, shiny brasses and a woodburner. In the Library, artifacts from great grandfather's ship adorn the fireplace and there is seating for 22 around two large oval tables. The cosy Morning Room offers more seating, an extra TV and games console.

There is private and secure parking including EV points. Hot tubs available for rent.

Dogs are welcome!

The perfect stay to celebrate my Grandad 90th birthday!

By Jenny on 19-Jan-2023

We had a really lovely time at Cossington Park. We hired the house and cottage for our family celebration and the disabled access in the cottage was perfect for our needs. The team had left nothing out, everything was provided, down to local ground coffee in a hamper (and other treats) and a towel and poo bags for the dog! So many thoughtful gestures, we really were very impressed. Whilst the downstairs of the main house is mainly flat our one observation was that there are a few small level changes which could be a problem for someone with mobility issues, however the main house doesn''t claim to have disabled access and the cottage had absolutely everything you need on the level ground floor so just be aware of this if using the cottage and house. Overall we have absolutely no complaints except that we couldn''t stay for longer (secretly we wanted to move in!) Thanks for a wonderful stay, I''m sure we''ll be back again soon...

Family Birthday Celebration

By Tracey on 24-Mar-2022

We were over the moon with the accommodation. We hired the house and the cottage which meant we had use of the whole estate. The family ranged from 6 months to 82 years and the house gave us enough space to cook, eat and spend evenings together. The kids loved the garden and games area and everything that we could possibly need was supplied. The welcome hampers were also lovely. I would definitely recommend either the cottage or the house to anyone and all of the family said they would return given the opportunity. It has given my mother in law whose 82nd birthday it was some fantastic memories that she will treasure.

Hidden Gem

Cossington Park is the absolutely perfect venue for a School Reunion/Hen weekend. All aspects of the booking were overseen by Graham and everything was perfect. There''s nothing more to say other than that we will definitely be back at some point - ideally sooner rather than later!
