I have nothing to add more than that which has already been said previously. A warm welcoming mid-terrace house. Clean and tidy on arrival with a cream tea left out for us to enjoy. The description provided by the owners is accurate. The property is well located for walking excursions which is what we came for. Easy communication with Simon and Jeanette. We encountered no problems at all and would recommend it for a relaxing stay in West Cornwall.
Thank-you Jeanette and Simon for all the welcome information, the cream tea and all the facilities of Seabreeze Cottage. I was most comfortable here. I attended the 1 week landscape painting course at Newlyn school of art, which is just around the corner from the cottage-Perfect! The course was excellent and we were taken daily to superb locations on the Cornish coast which provided inspiration for drawing and painting. A wonderful week whilst my wife was helping with the newborn Ceira in Switzerland. I am grateful for everything which Jeanette & Simon provided in this delightful cottage.
Sea-mist, wind, ragged blue sky & sudden sunny spells. In fact typical Cornwall. Steve & dog explored old favourites, while I painted on windy headlands and the studio at Newlyn School. Cooked in the evenings here, which has everything we needed, two lovely sunrises which I have plans for. Although we live near Falmouth, it was so relaxing not drive home after a full day, but to stagger downhill. Thank-you for the warm welcome, we all appreciated it.
We've walked many miles of coast path with wonderful views, we have a very tired dog to say the least! We ate at the Tolcarne Inn which was fabulous & dog friendly- need to book as its popular. we had a takeaway Pizza from the Bridge, again very good & dog friendly. Fish & chips from Lewis at bottom hill was excellent. we also walked to Mousehole a few evenings, ate ship Inn very friendly, good food. Out and about we caught the bus to Lamorna Cove & walked back along coastal path- visited St Ives, dog friendly beach en-route Porth kidney sands. Had a drink at the Sloop Inn. Weather has been great. Happy holidays all!
We have had lots of sun & enjoyed lots of fun swims at Porthcurno & Porthchapel, walks from treen to Porthcapel then onto Porthguarron & also Ding Dong mine walk. Cocktails at the Rockpool cafe (Mousehole) were great . We will be back!
