FIG TREE: POOL, HOT TUB & PANORAMIC VIEWSFig Tree is a dog-friendly two-bedroom cottage (sleeps 5) on the quiet edge of Bodnant Estate in the Conwy Valley. Panoramic views stretch towards the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia), with no traffic noise and a genuine sense of seclusion.
LIVING AREA
The open-plan living space is designed around the view, with large French windows opening onto the garden. Comfortable seating, Smart TV with DVD player and full central heating throughout.
KITCHEN & DINING
Fully equipped with dishwasher, full-height fridge/freezer, microwave and a Nespresso machine (starter pods provided). The dining area seats five or take it outside to the patio for a summer barbecue.
BEDROOMS (SLEEPS 5 + COT)
Fig Tree is single-storey throughout - ideal for families with young children and multi-generational groups.
- Master bedroom: King-size bed with full-length window overlooking the garden
- Bedroom 2: Zip-and-link beds (configurable as twin singles or a super-king on request), plus a chair bed for a fifth guest
BATHROOM
Modern suite with a double-ended bath and separate walk-in shower. Complimentary toiletries provided.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Fig Tree has two distinct patio areas: one with dining furniture alongside the private hot tub, and a second with lounge seating - both with open views across the valley. Beyond the patios, guests have access to over an acre of shared gardens.
Dogs are welcome (see below), and the garden is a good space for them to run. The perimeter is rural stock fencing which keeps sheep out and dogs in - the one thing to know is that the driveway gate stays open for ease of access, so dogs that wander or have a high prey drive will need supervising near the front of the property.
EV CHARGER
Shared 7kW Type 2 tethered charger on-site, powered by Voltshare (pay-as-you-go via app). No need to bring your own cable.
SWIMMING POOL
The heated indoor pool is just across the courtyard - 11 metres, available 24/7 and shared only with the guests of our one neighbouring cottage, Laurel. In practice it's rarely busy. Pool inflatables and toys are welcome.
LAUNDRY ROOM
Shared facility in the courtyard with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and a library of books and games.
DOGS
Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome (£35 per dog per stay, booked in advance). Dogs must not be left unaccompanied in the cottage or garden. Full details on our website.

Fig Tree can be booked alongside Laurel (sleeps 4) to accommodate groups of up to 9 - ideal for families or friends who want to holiday together while keeping their own private spaces.

Amazing Stay

A Peaceful Place
By Richard Rose on 15-Aug-2025Our family of 5 and two dogs stayed at this beautiful property for a week. On arrival we met the host who was very welcoming and showed us around. The house and its surroundings are just stunning. You can see Snowdonia and watch the jets fly by daily. It’s a peaceful place. The swimming pool was a massive hit with the whole family and we used it daily. The hot tub and large garden area was brilliant for the evenings to relax. The home itself is very well equipped. The bedrooms are large and the open plan kitchen and living room is perfect to keep the family together in one place. We visited plenty of areas around North Wales including Aber Falls, castles Anglesey and Betws y Coed - all very accessible with short drives from the property. Thank you for having us and we will hopefully be back to stay in the future Rose family x
We Would Return in a Heartbeat

The onsite amenities were as described and easily accessible. The indoor pool was great and we were able to make full use anytime we desired. Penny was a great host, the guidebook provided was perfect and made our short notice trip very easy to plan. We would return in a heartbeat and hope to do so in the future.

Loads to do in the area and a short drive to Snowdon if you feel the need to climb up there! Penny was friendly, helpful and easy to contact. We have three boys who just wanted to stay at the cottage and use the pool, hot tub and garden.
