It is a delight to visit Mary and Mike at Forest Field. As well as being sited in a beautiful garden the cottage is surrounded by lovely Lakeland countryside with local footpaths and woodland. We enjoy the self catering and peace and quiet
Peaceful. Scarcely a car. Superb views. The place is immaculate and everything needed for a comfortable stay has been thought of. The garden is lovely. The owners are lovely. We have stayed five times and hope to stay again.

Small but well equipped, cosy and quiet, set in the middle of the countryside. There is welcome access to a fabulous garden and summerhouse overlooking a pond. Walks from the door and good local eating places.
