Description
A one bedroom two story pet free apartment above the carriageway of our townhouse in the small rural town of Chulmleigh in North Devon. A perfect rural escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, with country walks and local pubs on the doorstep but only 40 minutes from the M5. Feel instantly relaxed on arrival with a wood burning stove laid and ready to lite and local bread, butter and homemade marmalade awaiting you to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.The open plan living area with its two cosy sofas, a smart TV and WIFI has a flexible dining/study area and a modern well-equipped kitchen with underfloor heating and french doors opening up to a Juliet balcony. The bathroom, with a spacious walk-in shower, is also on this first floor and a second flight of stairs leads you to the bedroom in the light and spacious attic room.
Please be aware that there are two flights of stairs in The Garret and a cobbled floor in the ground floor entrance, so the space may not suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We are a pet free accommodation for those who may have allergies.
The bed is generally made up with feather duvet and pillows. However we do have synthetic alternatives available on request.
With prior warning we can supply a cot, highchair and stair-gate for those bringing an infant under the age of 2.
