We stayed for 4 nights in September and The Cottage was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Jo, the owner, went out of her way to accommodate my allergies and to make our stay relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable.
Very modern interior to this farmhouse style holiday accommodation. One small caution is for any sports car owners who might visit, is that the buildings are approached by an unmade road which is really bumpy and full of holes, so beware if you arrive after dark. That aside, the location is quiet and beautiful. Its also handy for a number of locations to visit such as West Wittering, Brighton, Worthing, Arundel etc. There is a train line nearby but it is not noisy at all. The building we stayed in was spotlessly clean, with good quality bed linen, towels etc. Apart from the approach road I couldn't find a fault and I'm the fussy type. I would definitely stay there again.
A hidden gem which I really don't want to share as I need availability to go again! However the owner, Jo, deserves the recommendation. 5 delightful cottages with different styles and accommodation to choose from set in the West Sussex countryside. All cottages were very clean, I know as it was a family gathering and we bookd all 5, and well equipped with washing machines and dishwashers, extremely comfortable beds and fabulous bathrooms with wonderful showers. Each cottage has its own outside personal space with table and chairs and you also have the enjoyment of the grounds dotted with fruit trees and open spaces ideal for family games. Early morning we spotted rabbits and squirrels playing in the gardens. From the old to the young, we all had a fabulous time and will be back.
We stayed at Flintstone Cottages for 5 days in August with family members ranging from 22 years old to 85 years old. We had booked months before as accommodation for our wedding, which we luckily still managed to go ahead with. After months of stress and uncertainty, Jo was our Fairy Godmother and allowed us to have a small 'reception' back at the cottages. She allowed for us to have the perfect day and we really cannot stress how thankful we are. EVERYONE who came to the cottages commented on how beautiful they were. And we found them to be practically perfect. The weather was incredible for our stay and Jo had no qualms about us using the whole garden space, and even filled up our paddling pool! Each cottage was beautiful equipped with everything you can need and then decor made us feel like we were staying in a very high-end hotel! Thank you so much Jo and the Flintstone team for everything you did for us. We can't wait to come back and visit when we can! Mr & Mrs Broadway x
The cottage is a modern well-presented self-catering accommodation with 3 double bedrooms, sleeps 8 (including sofa bed.) It is 10-minute drive from Chichester - in the heart of the countryside with beautiful views and very peaceful. We had a wonderful relaxing break. The cottage had all the home comforts we needed - washing machine, dishwasher, 2 toilets, separate shower cubicle, bath, log burner, free wifi, tv, blu ray player, dining table, large sofa. It was immaculately clean and towels and bed linen provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable. All had double beds with their own wardrobes, mirror and bedside lamps. Outside you have your own private garden with decking and outside table and chairs. There is a bbq as well as a tumble dryer to freely use. My children loved the large communal garden too - which had a large trampoline to use. It is also dog friendly. Jo is an amazing hostess - and provided everything needed for a stress-free relaxing break.
We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage. The owner was kind enough to accommodate us at short notice when we were let down by a booking at another property in the area. The Cottage was clean, bright, and well-equipped for our family. Would highly recommend staying here. Well located to explore Chichester, Arundel and nearby beaches and walking trails.
