We missed the turning a few times so keep your eyes peeled for the wooden gate but once in, the house is amazing. Very secluded, clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay

By Julia on 31-Mar-2024

What a great find Chestnut Cottage This spotless, fantastic, accessible cottage in relaxing surroundings and with parking for our two cars. It had everything that you would require to self cater and white goods of a high standard. The beds were so comfortable too. Marcus was a fantastic host and visited us in the evening, to make sure everything was suitable for our needs… The icing on the cake tea /coffee / milk and artisan biscuits left for our arrival. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Brilliant stay

By Maija on 05-Mar-2024

My friends and I had the most brilliant stay at Chestnut Lodge. Marcus was very attentive as a host, the house was fully accessible, it was clean with lovely views to the garden, the beds were very comfortable and ‘extra points’ for the excellent showers, especially the accessible one with the stool!

Lovely stay

Thank you for a lovely stay. We walked in and were amazed by what we saw. Better than the pictures (and the pictures made it look great). It had all the amenities you could need. We would love to go back again. Marcus was really helpful and friendly.
