Private French Farmhouse with exclusive use of heated pool. Set in three acres in beautiful French countryside. Ideal for large groups of friends and family of up to 20 people. Sofa beds are available for even bigger groups. The property is in three connected parts with separate kitchens and living areas, but we all tend to meet on the terrace at the back that can cater for everyone.
We wanted to buy a house for holidays with big groups and chose this site for its' very private location at the edge of a small village.
We are still within a 10 minute drive of restaurants and shops in Aulnay and 20 minutes to St Jean d'Angely (with kayaking and canoeing on the lake). Great days out are Cognac (take the Hennessy tour) about 30 minutes drive; La Rochelle, about 1 hour; and Ile de Rey, about 75 minutes drive.
Three excellent golf courses are all within a 40 minute drive (we can supply clubs).
Fantastic restaurants locally - too many to list here - are all within an easy drive.
