What an absolutely magical place in such a pretty location. We loved exploring all the Gatehouse's nooks and crannies and we love the view from the turrets. The welcome goodies were very appreciated and a nice touch! We would definitely come again and would recommend to friends and family Love Joanne and Terry
As soon as we saw the Gatehouse, we fell in love! What a special place! The music, the fire and the hamper set us up for a perfect weekend away during a rain storm! Thank you!
Thank you so much for an incredible and beautiful stay. The attention to detail was so appreciated with the heart shaped plates and welcome basket etc. We couldn't have asked for a better anniversary stay. Hoping to stay again soon - we've fallen in love with this castle.
My boyfriend has always loved castles and history and I've never seen him so excited, until he saw this beautiful Gatehouse. Thank you so much to Juliet and William for sharing their slice of heaven with us. My favourite part was roasting smores on the fire. Leave us a hamper and wine was a very sweet gesture and we are truly, genuinely grateful.
What a lovely charming place! And so much history. A great place to stay, and we loved having the log burner - it was so cold out, and having a fire made it perfect. Lots of nice touches. A great place.
We have had a wonderful stay at the Gatehouse. We especially enjoyed standing up on the roof stargazing. It was -2 degrees but the place soon got cosy with the help of the roaring fire. Kind regards
