Description

Seaspray is a delightful seaside cottage close to safe family friendly beaches and attractive local coastal walks with world famous Jurassic fossil beaches. Charmouth beach is a short walk away from the cottage ( 4 min from the door) and has a heritage centre , two beach cafe's and cheap parking facilities.

The area surrounding includes Lyme bay with the Cob harbour, River cottage restaurant, Hive beach, Bridport, Lulworth cove and beautiful Durdle door cove a 20 min drive away. Charmouth village although small includes a brilliant fish and chip shop, local butchers, Nisa convenience store hairdressers, news agent/hardware store, chemist, doctors surgery, churches and library There are two family friendly independent pubs The George and The Royal Oak both have beer gardens and serve excellent value home made meals.For fine dining the River Cottage owned by Hugh Fernley-Whittingstool is a 10 min drive and Hicks oyster and seafood restaurent as Lyme has elevated views over the Cob harbour.

At Lyme Regis there are many other beach side pubs and restaurants including an excellent Thai During the spring and summer seasons Lime Regis offers short fishing trips and excursions around Lyme Bay.Other facilities in Lyme are a Theater, mini golf course pleasure gardens and an aquarium on the famous Cobb sea wall.

Please note we cannot accept pets and Seaspray does not have Wifi however the Library in the village has an internet cafe.

Seaside Cottage also has a NEW PATIO AND SEATING AREA IN THE REAR GARDEN WITH VIEWS OF THE ROLLING GREEN HILLS if you want to sit outside and enjoy the sea air or dine outside.

Linens and towels for 6 people are included, in the price but travel cot linen is not included.

A travel cot is available at seaspray.

Happy to book weekends/mini breaks subject to availability but PLEASE NOTE during the main school hollidays in summer and half terms we have to book from friday to friday which is our cleaners change over day .


seaspray cancellation policy

if you book with seaspray we ask for a 50% deposit and the balance plus security deposit 4 weeks prior to your stay . if you cancel up to 60 days before holiday then you will receive full deposit .
