A lovely house with well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge with great selection of dvd's.l Large games room in the basement with darts, pool table, table tennis etc. A juke box and good selection of cycles including a tandem. When the weather was not great we spent hours down there having fun. Plenty of outside seating areas and loungers to relax in plus a pool to cool off.
If you are looking for value for money, you will not go wrong here. This bungalow easily caters for 6 and the most surprising aspect of the place is the enormous games room downstairs providing a wonderful opportunity for all the family/guests to enjoy themselves playing ping pong, pool, darts, table footie whilst listening to music from the juke box. During the day, there are so many activities to contemplate, we enjoyed the cycling,(cycles are there, including a tandem), we went to the lakes and the river for a swim and pick nics. Gorgeous weather. A perfect week in the Charente. Oh forgot to mention the local boulangerie.
Amazing stay at Charentais Bungalow Date of stay: June 2019 What an a amazing holiday. Myself and 5 friends stayed at the bungalow for a week over the summer this year. The bungalow was welcoming, it felt like home from home, it was really clean and well kept. The garden area was large with a swimming pool & BBQ. There was a games room which provided endless fun and bikes so you could venture out and explore. We went to the local lake which was a good day out. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again!! Review by: Flick Cross
