Verdun sur le Doubs is the confluence of three rivers, The Doubs, The Petit Doubs and The Saone. Here you will find La Capitainerie (where the rental boats stop overnight) an open air bar/small restaurant where you can sit and watch the happenings on the river whilst sipping a glass of chilled wine and/or having a light lunch, a very peaceful haven where we go quite often in the summer months.
