We cannot recommend Woodland Lodge highly enough and you will absolutely love it."

By Debbie on 03-Apr-2021

My husband, myself and our dog Jax have just spent a wonderful six months at the lodge and it was totally awesome. The lodge is situated in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and overlooking a lovely arboretum. The decking area with its table, chairs and bbq is perfect for enjoying a lovely meal in wonderful peaceful surroundings. The interior of the lodge is first class with beautiful furnishings and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The added bonus of two bathrooms is especially welcome. For dog owners the lodge is fantastic, there is an outside decking area which is enclosed perfect for keeping your pets safe. Also within a few steps there is a path into the woodland walk that takes you to the lake. Wildlife abounds with deer, foxes, rabbits, swans, geese and ducks to name a few. The local area has lots of interesting places to visit, from pretty coastal towns to amazing historical halls and castles. We have thoroughly loved and enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning.

Spoilt for choice....

Superb location, close to the coast and lovely local villages (with some super pubs) and only 20 mins to Norwich. Nice touch to find a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and such a change to find pets so welcome. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

Just a quick note to say thank you. We had the most wonderful relaxing time in the lodge. It really felt like home from home, beautifully furnished and well equipped and loved the thoughtful touches for the dogs. So nice to arrive to a bottle of prosecco, made a perfect start to a perfect stay.  We loved the fact we were only a few minutes drive away from some beuatiful local hotspots and some lovely places to eat out. I would most definetley recommed this place to all my friends and family. Thank you

And relax.....

Just got back from a few days away with my wife at Woodland lodge. We had a very relaxing time. The lodge was absolutely what we hoped for. Very clean and comfortable (especially the beds) a great kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals although we ate out most of the time at some of the lovely country pubs in the area. The lodge is set in a very pretty peaceful little park situated very central to explore Norfolk and close to Norwich if you want to head into a City for some shopping. We will be visiting again once Covid restrictions allow and would recommend to people.

Great place to get away.

Our lodge stay

By Kenneth W. on 24-Sep-2019

We enjoyed our lodge stay very much. Plenty of living space and very well stocked with everyday bits and pieces to make our stay more enjoyable. We actually took too many extras re condiments, coffee tea etc. Loved the Chocs , two dinners and dog treats waiting for us and our dog Jack. We haven’t experienced such peace and quiet for many years. Wonderful.
