We have had the most amazing time and know that it would not of been possible without our hosts Gaynor and Steve. Always there if needed but very discreet too. They have a wealth of information on the surrounding area and let us join them at the Fete’s and festivals. Chez Roullett is in the most idyllic of places to giving you the peace and quiet needed. The pool, warm, was very well used due to the weather and very much needed. The Gite was extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need to be self sufficient. Very peaceful area only the sound of the cicadas in the day and the owls at night. Bliss!! Restaurants, bakery, supermarket all in the nearest village which we loved. We took bikes for the three week holiday and it was the best way to appreciate the beautiful surrounding countryside made colourful due to abundance of sunflower fields. This has truly been the most memorable stay and we would recommend to anyone wanting a holiday to recharge those batteries. We would love to come back!

Our second time at Chez Roullett but this time we booked a whole month. We had the most amazing holiday. Staying at this beautiful accommodation for this length of time made it even more difficult to leave! We had use of a washing machine which was helpful as well as the usual regular fresh towels and bedding each week. The owners, Steve and Gaynor could not be more helpful and accommodating. Indeed, we had to use the local hospital during our stay and the help we received from Steve and Gaynor helped to reassure us. They also introduced us to their friends and invited us to join them at local events, of which there are many. Chez Roullett is situated in such a quiet location and offers a completely private space yet is just a short distance from several beautiful villages. If you want peace and quiet in the French countryside with everything just a short drive away, this is the place to book.

Spent a week in Chez Roulette - what a fabulous spot. Lovely spacious well equipped living area but the balcony was our very favourite spot where you sat and watched the wildlife with beautiful views down the valley . Ideally situated for exploring the Lot Valley. The pool area was so peaceful and private. We came away feeling so relaxed and definitely hope to revisit. Steve and Gaynor were the perfect hosts and had a wealth of knowledge to share which was so helpful when visiting areas of interest.

What an absolute gem of a gite. It was spotlessly clean, we felt like we were the first people to stay there even though it was towards the end of the season. Sitting on the terrace watching the moonrise was a delight and the fabulous views and tranquillity were just what we needed. We highly recommend Chez Roullett.

Second visit to Chez Roullett and hopefully not our last. Stunning valley views, clean and well equipped property, lovely private and secluded pool, (a welcome relief to this years heatwave). Great hosts, available if needed. Plenty to see and visit in the area including night markets, freshly cooked food and drink (August).

We have stayed in a number of gites in France over the last few years and this one was certainly the best yet. The gite was very clean, all the crockery, glasses, pots and pans had clearly been washed ready for our use. Glasses were sparkling in the cabinet and there were cleaning materials in the bathroom (including a pair of rubber gloves) for our use. The mezzanine floor which housed the bedroom created a spacious feeling, and being able to lie in bed and look out of the window at the view was a delight. Outside seating was available in 2 locations (3 if you include the pool area) which meant you could find a shady spot to sit if it got too hot. It was really nice that this gite had a private pool, unfortunately we didn't have a great deal of 'pool' weather although we did use it despite this. The balcony was a fabulous place to sit, eat and generally enjoy the view (as well as see the spectacular lightning display!!!). This is a lovely private gite, Steve and Gaynor were available if needed and we always enjoyed stopping and having a chat with them. The gite and the grounds are a credit to them both, it is located in beautiful countryside with a number of very pretty villages easily accessible with some good markets to purchase local produce. An additional benefit was the car parking area which was covered and out of the sun. We would highly recommend this gite.
