Description

The Gite at No 1 Castelnau de Montmiral is a one bedroomed, self contained, private, self catering gite, with a private outdoor dining terrace and a pool which may be shared with the owner, or completely private for you on request.

It offers one double bedroom and an extra bed facility of a sofa bed in the lounge - suitable for one additional child/person. There is plenty of storage space in a large wardrobe and tall boy.

The well equipped kitchen offers a 4 ring halogen hob, full size oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board, crockery, cultlery glassware and cookware and is open to the dining and lounge area.

The lounge offers a 2 seater sofa, which converts into a small sofa bed - suitable for a child or an adult - an armchair, a coffee table, books and games, and a flat screen TV with a HUMAX Freeview and recording system. Currently TV and radio channels are all English speaking, French channels may be added in 2022- IF FRENCH TV IS IMPORTANT TO YOU PLEASE ENQUIRE ON BOOKING.

There is also a cast iron electric fire with lookalike living flame, and an efficient electric radiator for cooler months.
The dining area offers a full size dining table, there are 4 chairs, a standard lamp and occasional table.

A lobby containing a full sized wardrobe leads off the main room, and this is turn leads separately to the double bedroom offering a double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a tall boy and a full length mirror, and the shower/WC. All bedlinens, shower towels/hand towels are included.

WIFI is available throughout.

Externally

There is a completely private external terrace with a dining table for 4 persons.

There are sunbeds available by the gite and by the pool for your use.

A small lawn leads to the pool, beautifully located in from of an ancient village well, itself the subject of folklore. The pool is not heated, by is available year round for the hardy! Pool towels, sun loungers, chairs and tables are provided.

The area in front of the gite is absolutely private, and if preferred you may park a car there, but you may prefer to preserve the view and the sunsets and leave your car on the pavement immediately outside the house and gite where I leave mine.

The pool and the lawn can also be made totally private for the duration of your stay at no extra charge, please do let me know if this is something you might like. Myself and my guests may use the pool on occasion, but do let me know if you prefer it to remain private for you.
