Description
Le Pigeonnier de Murat lies in hills a mile outside the ancient village of Cardaillac, accredited as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
Tranquility is assured, set in 50 acres with two donkeys and cows for company, the nearest neighbours are half a kilometre away. You will enjoy exclusive use of the property and its surroundings during your stay.
The pigeonnier is part of a traditional farmhouse, split over three floors, with the ability to sleep 2, 3, or 4 guests in various configurations; with one or two bedrooms each with a bathroom available, depending upon the accommodation preferences chosen.
The outside dining and barbeque area offers spectacular views over the Causse uplands and valleys of the Cele and Lot rivers. The property sits among the hills of the Ségala, with sweet chestnut woods and traditional stone buildings. It offers rural living, whilst being only 12 minutes drive from the medieval town of Figeac.
The pigeonnier is a memorable and romantic place to stay, with luxurious accommodation. Given the unique nature of the building and its surrounding livestock, children under the age of 18, smokers and pets are not accepted, without exception.
Minimal rental period is 7 nights with Saturday to Saturday check in and out. The headline price quoted is for occupation of one double bedroom and bathroom; for occupation of 2 double bedrooms with two bathrooms the price is £1,450 per week.
