Our second year in a row staying at one of the fabulous properties at Butterbee House, and we are already planning a return in 2024! These properties are absolutely stunning with high quality fixtures, spotless pre rental preparation and the owners could not be more welcoming. Forget paying double the price to stay on the coast, this is the perfect touring base with the majority of places whether north or south coast are within easy reach. The property is set within beautiful manicured gardens that you have access to with stunning countryside views. Callington is a traditional market town with everything that you require within walking distance. I really cannot recommend these properties highly enough.
This cottage is so lovely we are almost addicted. Its lovely and clean. The beds are comfy. The garden is beautiful and spacious. The hosts couldn't be nicer. We've already stayed twice and decided we're coming back at least once a year
We don't usually go for pet friendly accommodations - We don't have pets, but liked the look of the place so much we thought we'd cross our fingers and hope that it wouldn't be a big deal. And indeed, you'd never know! The place was immaculate. Excellently equipped with very good provisions, lovely open plan downstairs setupwith double doors to open up into that beautiful vote and huge garden - I always felt the children were perfectly safe, whether they were inside or out. The open plan layout also made me feel like I was still part of the family activities even when I was doing laundry, cooking or whatever. The accommodation owner lived next door too, and was easy to get hold off of we needed anything. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. On site bike storage an added bonus!
The owner lives next door and was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Lovely bright airy accommodation and excellent secure back garden which children and dogs loved. Easy to travel to all places on our schedule of places to visit. We intend to come back and would recommend. Date of arrival - 15 August 2020
Within reach of the beauty of the sea; coast and the hidden gems of this beautiful county lies The Beehive. It is an oasis of calm. Plenty of room to relax (or recover!) inside with a brilliant kitchen and/or entertain. Directly accessed greenspace allows for early morning/late evening relaxing; dining; fitness and dog freedom. We have used this as abase regularly to unwind and join with Cornish based family. Everything that you need is there and if there are questions or problems the owners quickly come to your rescue. What's not to love in this gorgeous base camp.
Very nice and spacious property, cannot fault anything. Lovely artwork and nice and central to many attractions in Devon and Cornwall. Cannot recommend highly enough.
