A beautiful cottage in a peaceful environment with incredible views and sunsets. The stars on a clear night are stunning. John and Jo were excellent hosts and available when needed. The kitchen has all the utensils you would ever need. A welcome pack of wine, bread, apple crumble, and cream was waiting for us upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable. I slept like a baby. Even though the weather was hit and missed, it didn't spoil our holiday at all as it was still mild (September) and John heated the pool for us to 28 degrees. We especially liked having our own private pool. We didn't stay there with kids, but it was so well suited for them that I could imagine they would have the time of their lives. There are a few supermarkets 15 minutes away in Perigord for supplies. Thank you Jo and John for allowing us to share your beautiful home.
A warm welcome and accommodation beyond our expectations. Everything was there and even more than we expected. The games for the children, the pool, the space, the tranquility, everything was perfect. 1 week seemed to us to go by too quickly. Looking forward to coming back.
Excellent family stay where everyone had their own space (bedrooms, bathroom, toilet). Welcome, environment, view and services at the top! Cake and hamper were waiting for us when we arrived. Once again, a big thank you for your kindness, access to the garden and the henhouse allowed for the joy of young and old...
We were very impressed with the whole setup. John and Jo couldn't have done enough for us. They booked our vet appointment for our dog to come home and also booked us a table at a restaurant for our last night. The barn is set up for families and there are plenty of things for children to do. The kitchen was well equipped and we were greeted with a beautiful chocolate cake and crème fraiche. We cannot fault the hospitality of our hosts, who knew the local area very well, but also gave you the privacy you needed to enjoy your holiday.

A spacious, bright and well equipped house right in the heart of the beautiful countryside. Easy to shop in a very local small town (3 miles away) that was totally unspoilt and was obviously "French". Very simple to walk straight from the door along quiet country lanes in the rolling countryside and then come back to relax in the exceptionally large garden and a wonderful swimming pool. There were so many different pieces of garden/indoor play equipment to make sure you would never lose something to do. John and Jo were brilliant hosts and looked after us extremely well, making sure we had everything we needed. Their gifts of eggs, bread, and apple crumble (and more) were gratefully received and were a nice touch. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the surroundings. We had a great stay.
