See the links below. Catch up with all the latest news and photos by joining us on Facebook.
The luxury 3-bedroom lodge is beautifully finished with excellent facilities and consideration for the environment, disabled visitors, and home comforts. The park is a favourite for couples seeking quiet relaxation and multi generation family groups (grandparents, parents and grandchildren). Couples Discount available throughout the year (min price shown above is the 2 person occupancy rate) . The central heating and hot water are provided through a state-of-the-art, efficient electric combi boiler, meaning fossil fuels are not consumed directly by the lodge. The BBQ is also electric. The induction hob is more energy efficient than the standard equivalents. Luxury showers have been installed to use less energy than a bath. Most cleaning agents, soaps and detergents provided are eco-friendly. The lodge itself is new and built to the latest standards.

Visitors requiring assisted access can look forward to many facilities such as:-

Gentle ramp from the parking spaces to access the lodge
The whole lodge is on ground level
High level reclining armchairs
High level king size bed with joint supporting hybrid mattress and optional bedside aid
Folding shower seat, shower handrail and toilet handle. Optional raised toilet seat attachment

Sorry, the lodge cannot accommodate wheelchairs or wheeled walkers

Open Plan Living

The indoor living space is light, airy and spacious with vaulted ceiling and two double French doors. The kitchen boasts a wide range of equipment and facilities, including Induction hob, extraction hood, main oven, combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, 4 slice toaster, kettle and comprehensive range of utensils. The dining area is conveniently positioned near the kitchen island and has seating for 6 with an extendable table. This lovely furniture is made from recycled/reclaimed materials. There is also a wine rack and wine fridge separated by a 2 seater breakfast bar. The lounge has two 2 seater sofas and 2 reclinable armchairs. The chairs are a good height for disabled use. The focal point is the 50 inch HD, 4K TV where you can choose from over 100 satellite channels with recording facilities. The TV cabinet and occasional tables are also made from recycled /reclaimed materials.

Bedrooms

The master bedroom is en suite with king size bed. The mattress is a state of the art hybrid, ideal for aching joints. It also has a vanity unit, full length mirror and built in wardrobe with drawers. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and full length mirror and bedroom 3 has twin beds. Both have hotel quality mattresses, built in wardrobes, free-standing towel rails and Echo Dots. All bedrooms have bedside cabinets, bedside lights and USB charging sockets.

Bathrooms

The bathrooms boast excellent showers, to reduce the energy consumed from heating a bath full of water. There is plenty of storage space for toiletries, shavers & make up etc. Each guest has a welcome shower gel and shampoo just in case you forgot to pack them. Both bathrooms have shaver sockets, LED down lighters and mirrors.

Outdoor Living

The large decking area enjoys the view over the fields, up the valley, to the front of the property, often with flocks of sheep in view and is bordered by tall trees to the side. This provides a secluded, quiet outdoor living space allowing you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful nature around you.

The outdoor dining set with parasol has 4 chairs and 4 stools. The stools double up as occasional tables if required. There is a 2 seater "egg" chair, which is strategically positioned to take full advantage of the view. What is outdoor living without a BBQ? The electric BBQ provides fast, clean and eco friendly grilling with a good char. When the sunlight fades, the solar powered decking post lights illuminate, to extend your precious outdoor living time and maybe, if its a cooler evening, it's time to break out the outdoor blankets stored in the cushion store.

Wildlife is close by almost 24/7. By day there are rabbits grazing on the grass, incredible birdlife encouraged by our feeders and farm animals not far away. We are also close to where the Red Kite was reintroduced in the UK, therefore they are often seen soaring overhead. On the bird feeders you will see a multitude of British birds, and we are regularly lucky to see a pair of great spotted woodpeckers making the most of the peanuts. At night, there is also a lot going on with our nocturnal visitors. Therefore, we have a trail camera which captures short videos of them. Invariably the rabbits are out in numbers at night. However, there are a few other species that we rarely see during the day. We regularly capture videos of foxes and badgers roaming around looking for food. During your stay, you can get involved too. All you need to do is download a free phone app to see what visitors you get whilst you are here. You can even download them and take them home with you. Great fun for adults and children alike. Instructions are in the visitors guestbook.

“This is a truly relaxing destination if you like wildlife and walking . The lodge is superbly equipped with everything to make your stay as easy and relaxing as you could wish for. Spotlessly clean warm. I can recommend visiting the red kite feeding station at Rhyader at feeding time (3PM) for a spectacular display of frenzied feeding by these impressive birds. Also visit The Elan Valley dams in Rhyader. Will definitely stay here again”

The lodge is brand new and has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable and the setting is so peaceful. The owners have thought of everything you could need for a stay and I recommend anyone thinking of booking to do it. The local town of Builth Wells is only a few minutes drive away and the scenery around the wider area is beautiful. We would happily return again knowing now just how good this lodge is. The owners were so helpful and I'm just pleased we found it when looking for a last minute get away

Us 3 ladies have had a wonderful stay in your beautiful lodge, many thanks! The view and the wildlife have kept us amused. A sunny morning here and rain at home means we would like to stay longer.
