David and Denise are around if you need anything during your stay . Thank you for such a lovely visit Tips for other travellers Fantastic beaches on the doorstep,Widemouth and Bude There are delicious fish and chips in Bude at the mermaid . We went twice ! It was a very wet day in Boscastle which is well worth a visit . We popped into the wellington hotel for a coffee by the wood burning stove . Everywhere we went seemed to be dog friendly . The lost gardens of Heligan near St Austell are well worth a visit . Wear good foot wear and a dry day would be better

Yes Comments about this property David and Denise were wonderful hosts. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and gave us some great tips of the area. Thanks for a great holiday and we will definitely be back. Tips for other travellers Budds barns is located in a great location, not far from many of the top attractions in Cornwall. We visited The Eden project, Padstow, port Isaac and Bude. All beautiful places to visit. We will definitely be back to explore more of the beautiful local beaches and country walks. Tips- we throughly enjoyed the lobster hatchery in Padstow, it’s small but we learnt so much. If you pass Wainhouse corner, pop into the country stores. The Cornish pasties are made locally and smelt amazing!

Swallow - Peaceful and Quiet

Date Submitted: 05 Oct 2023 Booking ID: 1150820 view booking details Traveller from Dursley, GB Date of stay 22 Sep 2023 Location Cleanliness Facilities Service / Staff 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent 5 - Excellent Would you recommend this property to other travellers? Yes Comments about this property Accommodation is always clean and comfortable, and help is always forthcoming if requested. We enjoy the peace and quiet, and the enclosed garden is brilliant, whether you have a dog or not. We look forward to visiting, and have booked for next year already. Tips for other travellers Black Rock beach at Widemouth Bay is excellent for dogs and owners, and the cafe serves good food. The other end of the beach is good for sufers, body boarders etc. Bude isn''t very far, and has both Morissons and Sainsbury''s. There''s also good pasty shops etc. Good walks along the top by Sainsbury''s, down to Crooklets beach, and Rosie''s for food etc, and there''s a good walk along the canal, with the car park and places to eat. Boscastle is worth a visit, picturesque, and some interesting shops. There''s a great farm shop about a mile out of the village which is worth a visit.

Swallow - Definitely a Home from Home

Yes Comments about this property David and Denise are lovely hosts, who are there if you need anything, but also, just leave you to enjoy your break. Cottages are lovely. All have secure gardens, ideal for dogs. All well equipped to a good standard. Definitely a home from home. You will definitely be able to relax and unwind. Tips for other travellers Just explore. Sandymouth beach is huge when the tide is out and low. You can walk all the way from Summerleaze to beyond Sandymouth, if you time it right. If you have dogs, then avoid Cutletts beach, but the rest are dog friendly. Also, if needed, would recommend Tamar Vets in Bude for your hound.
